Dungarth

By Keith McDonald

Guarded by goblins, assassins, ogres, and a giant lizard, the Ruins of Dungarth were an early hazard for teams in Series 4.

The Ruins of Dungarth were a vivid location in the early stages of quests during Series 4.

Dungeoneers arrived at a giant arch, where they often faced threats or obstructions from goblins or assassins.

The exit was shown through the Eye Shield. Players passed through the arch into one of the priory's side entrances. Alternatively, dungeoneers head into the grounds, where they face a giant lizard.

They can normally expect to find a wellway to Level 2 somewhere nearby in the grounds.

Dungarth made a single appearance in Series 6. Pickle suggests the ruins have been taken over by witches.

The ruins are based on the West Front and Prior's House of Castle Acre Priory in Norfolk.
