Cast/Crew Projects

Hugo Myatt appears as the on-screen narrator in theatre rock show Benjamin Bloom's Last Man On Earth - and your next chance to see it is this weekend.

After Simon from Swansea took that rather consequential sidestep to his left and the team had been dismissed in Series 4, Pickle remarked to Treguard: "So much for Welsh wizardry."

It seems that Treguard (Hugo Myatt) has decided to investigate the wizardry for himself, because he's due to be a guest at Wales Comic Con in Wrexham on 23rd-24th April.

In 2013, YouTube sensations Dan Howell (Danisnotonfire) and Phil Lester (AmazingPhil) were contestants along with Emma Blackery and Stuart Ashen (Ashens) on the special episode of Knightmare produced for YouTube's Geek Week. While we're inclined to regard Knightmare as a career high for anyone - even if they do send their dungeoneer down a humungous chasm - Dan and Phil have gone from strength to strength, and this month are grazing the top of the bestseller chart with their book The Amazing Book is not On Fire.

But who else from the world of Knightmare has put pen to paper? Several of the cast, it turns out.

Hugo Myatt, whom you may remember as Treguard the Dungeon Master in Knightmare, is due to be a guest at Hampshire TV, Film & Comic Con 2015 in Portsmouth on Sunday 13th December. So too is David Rowe, Knightmare's illustrator and the man behind David Rowe's Art of Knightmare. Both were among the guests at our inaugural Knightmare Convention in Norwich last year.

What a weekend to be a Knightmare fan. The truly awesome Series 3 back on free-to-air television for the first time since 1989; references to (the) Knightmare, life force and portals in Doctor Who; a future Knightmare monk's head blowing up.
Perhaps I should elaborate on one of those.
